This is the shortest and the easiest route of all possible routes to summit on Mountain Kilimanjaro. It is well known as the “Coca-Cola route” due to its popularity, you can climb in just 5 days, however this is not always best as it allows less time for acclimatization. We recommend 6 days climb to increase your chance of summiting successfully. Unlike other routes this is the only route with solar-powered sleeping huts with comfortable beds at every camp all the way up the mountain and shops in different camps that allows you to purchase stuff like sodas, beers snacks etc

Most climbers choose to use 5 days to climb but we do recommend 6 days.  An additional day for acclimatization is a key to the successful climb on this mountain. However for well experienced and very fit mountain hikers, the 5 days climb is also suitable. For 5 days climb you will only spend one night at Horombo hut instead of two nights. And time for acclimatization-walks when you choose to do 6 days

Below is a sample itinerary, note that all our programs are flexible and tailored to the individual groups so please let us know if you would like to make any changes. Our climbing team will meet you the day before your climb for a full briefing of your upcoming ascent & descent, including a final check to all your equipments and to any questions you have will be answered.
