Early after breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you, and your safari will commence. You will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire national park is spectacular in any season and many of the migratory wildlife species can be found at the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and giraffes gather until the onset of the rain, when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Before dark you shall drive to the Lodge/Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning after breakfast you will head down to Ngorongoro crater floor for a half day game drive. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to see the rare black rhino in Africa, not to mention the prides of lion and the magnificent black-mane lions. There are lots of colorful flamingos and the variety of water birds. In the crater you are also likely to see leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, many members of the antelope family, and small mammals of all sorts. In the late afternoon you will be driven back to your lodge in Arusha.
Do not forget to tip your Guide and Cook. If a client is satisfied with the service. We recommend 25 USD per day for the Guide and 20 USD per day for the Cook.
