Tour Plan
After breakfast, your driver-guide will collect you, and your safari will commence. You will drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire national park is spectacular in any season and many of the migratory wildlife species can be found at the permanent waters of Tarangire River. Huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, elephants, elands and giraffes until the onset of the rain, when they migrate again to good grazing areas. Before dark you shall return to the Lodge / Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro conservation area, which takes between 3 and 4 hours. Serengeti has the amazing landscape that earned it the Maasai name “Sirenget” – Endless Plains. In the evening, enjoy a game drive in the Serengeti. Again this is a great time to view game – particularly the carnivores as this is their favourite time to hunt. Before dark you shall return to the Lodge / Campsite for dinner and overnight stay.
Today you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Your Chef will serve you with all your meals including Breakfast, Lunch and dinner. In the evening you will spend another night at Lodge/Campsite
After breakfast, begin your day with a morning game drives in the Serengeti, and then later in the afternoon drive to Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge. Once at the crater’s rim, get some rest and dinner at the Lodge/Campsite where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, drive down into Ngorongoro Crater and enjoy a half day game drive. This is undoubtedly one of the best places to see the rare black rhino in Africa, not to mention the prides of lion and the magnificent black-mane lions. There are lots of colourful flamingos and the variety of water birds. In the crater you are also likely to see leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, many members of the antelope family, and small mammals of all sorts. In the late afternoon we will drive you out of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Karatu where you shall spend the night at a lodge/Campsite.
After a well-prepared breakfast, you will begin your drive to Lake Eyasi. Here you will see a great variety of birdlife along the shore of this beautiful lake, and the location alone makes it a great place to spend a couple of nights. The meadows along the shore are home to a wide variety of wildlife including the elusive leopard, hippos, a variety of monkeys, and most importantly a host of both greater and lesser flamingos. Several very pleasant private lodges and tented camps are located in the forest clearings by the lake; these provide great accommodation and are made as much as possible from local materials.
Early in the morning, after breakfast you will drive from Lake Eyasi to Lake Manyara National Park. This takes approximately 2 before entering the park. Frequently seen in Lake Manyara National Park are zebras, impalas, monkeys, giraffes, buffalos, hippos, warthogs among many others. Before dark, we will drive you to back to your lodge in Arusha
